Restoration of a Company
Restoration is the process of putting a struck-off or dissolved company back on the register so that it is treated as having continued in existence.
A company that has been struck off or dissolved may be restored either by the court or, in eligible cases, by an administrative application to the Registrar. Restoration is often sought when there are assets to recover, claims to bring or defend, or property that vested in the government on dissolution to be recovered. Once restored, the company is generally deemed to have continued in existence as if it had never been struck off or dissolved.
