About CRHK Guru and its data

Every record comes from the public records of the Hong Kong Companies Registry, chiefly its Integrated Companies Registry Information System (ICRIS). Renavon collects and structures those records, and CRHK Guru is built from Renavon's exports.

Registry facts are shown as the Registry records them. We do not edit a company's name, status or dates; where the Registry's record is incomplete, so is ours.

The site's data is rebuilt every night at about 03:00 Hong Kong time from the latest exports. The Registry's records change during Hong Kong business hours, and a newly incorporated company usually appears here within a week. Every company page states the date the site's data was last synced.

Every company has a page, but not every page is offered to search engines. A company that is live, or that has had a change of status, name or registered office in the last two years, is indexed and listed in the sitemap. A long-dissolved company with no recent change keeps its page and its links, but the page carries a noindex tag and is left out of the sitemap. The two-year window is re-evaluated every night, so a company moves between the two as its record changes.

The Chinese-language page of a company with no registered Chinese name is not indexed either: it would repeat the English page, which is the one offered to search engines.

crhk.guru is an independent service, not affiliated with the Hong Kong Companies Registry. Filed documents offered on company pages are plain copies of public records obtained from the Registry's e-Services. For a legal purpose, such as due diligence or a court filing, obtain official or certified records from the Companies Registry itself.
